My Fry & Laurie Scrapbook

As my Christmas gift to my online friends (and anyone else who cares to stumble across my postings), I have scanned and uploaded many of the articles from my Fry & Laurie scrapbook.

These articles date from 1988 to 1996, many are several-page articles, with a handful of snippets from magazines & newspapers. Some of the pictures may look a bit odd, but they should be OK at 100% display. I've resized some pictures so they don't look too strange from the scanning process. However, please note that many pages have little holes along the sides as the scrapbook was (and still is) a ringbinder :)

I'm planning on sharing these with the appropriate communities as well as posting here, so apologies if you come across this a few times! You may have seen some of these about the Internet before, but I hope you enjoy them. Merry Christmas!

Oh, heavens, I've only looked at a couple so far, but what a treat! And that "Hooray, it's Fry-Day" interview--is Stephen playing straight? Was that even possible for him in 1986, or did he just not want to frighten the under-sixteens?

Ooh, I've just looked over all of the scans, and they're fantastic. Wonderfully disorienting, as well, for a twenty-three year old American who first encountered Hugh as a Serious Angsty Actor instead of an Upper-Class Twit (the GQ writer seems to have been pretty perceptive, though) and Stephen as the Anglophone world's favorite professor instead of the boy wonder of Queen's. And Emma Thompson being known as a sketch comedienne instead of a Serious Actress.

I loved the GQ interview too, I always knew one day Hugh's talents would be there for the whole world to see.

Glad you enjoyed them all!
